This week the 3rd grade students presented their group projects about healthy food. They presented their amazing PowerPoint slides. Each group brought something new! One group presented tasty and healthy recipes, such as a delicious smoothie done with fruit, yoghurt and coconut milk; another group presented new words with sounds, so that we could all repeat and learn the words. For example, they learnt: “watermelon”, “broccoli”, and “lettuce”. Another group presented us new food words too, in amazing pictures.
There was more, though! After their presentations, each group engaged their peers through games that they had prepared at home: students decided which food items were healthy, and which ones were unhealthy. They all had great fun! And they all got very hungry too!
Thank you, 3rd grade students for your creative presentations and fantastic activities, and thank you to the parents too, for helping your children in this venture!
